In June, we had a team traveling to Tijuana, Mexico to build two homes. It was an amazing weekend, and one of the highlights was spending time with the Damas Munguia family and their seven children. Although our Spanish was very weak, communication began to grow, and we developed a special connection with their son Keven. Keven worked tirelessly alongside the construction crew to help build his family's home. He knew what this would mean to his family, and he couldn't wait for us to finish. It was really humbling to watch this 10 year old hammer the nails that would hold his family's home together. Keven was so proud of his efforts, and you could see his confidence growing over the weekend. He helped make this dream come true, and his family has a safer, healthier place to call home.
