The Cervantes Lares family is so excited to be receiving a new home. They live in the Lomas De Poleo community of Juarez, Mexico.
Maria is a homemaker and her sons, Miguel Angel and Leonel, both work in a factory assembling parts for computers. Together the family earns about $84 per week. Maria and her family moved to Juarez 17 years ago from the state of Zacatecas to search for better working opportunities. They have been living in a borrowed home for the last five years, but now have purchased a new piece of land where their home will be built. They are paying about $52 per month for their new land.
Maria says, “Thank you for helping our family and blessing us with this new home."
